Early Childhood Therapeutic Supports
What is Early Childhood Intervention Support?
At Salams Therapy Hub, we’re dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through evidence-based, family-centred support for ages 0–9. Our NDIS Early Childhood Intervention services are designed to nurture each child’s unique developmental needs in a playful, sensory-rich environment that encourages growth and learning.
Using the latest tools and research, our team assesses core developmental areas, including communication, emotional understanding, social skills, and motor abilities. Early intervention provides a strong foundation, addressing challenges early on to promote lifelong skills.

What is the Key Worker Approach?
At Salams Therapy Hub, our Key Workers, also known as Lead Therapists, bring specialised backgrounds and advanced skills across all areas of child development. As part of our early intervention support services, each Key Worker collaborates closely with our team to ensure your child receives comprehensive, well-rounded support.
Our Key Workers empower parents, carers, and other important adults in your child’s life by sharing practical skills and strategies. This approach enables you to support your child’s learning and growth within familiar, everyday settings—whether at home or in the community.
We start with a 30-minute online intake session to learn about your needs, discuss our services, and complete any necessary paperwork. This session is charged and does not require your child to attend.
To make the most of this session, we encourage families to bring a copy of their NDIS plan and goals. It’s also helpful to consider your family’s routine and specific goals. Afterward, we’ll connect you with a specialist—whether a Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Teacher, Rehabilitation Counsellor, or Psychologist—based on your child’s unique needs following our early childhood approach and focusing on NDIS developmental delay.
Meet Your Key Worker (Lead Therapist)
In this session, you’ll meet your Key Worker, who will work with you to set meaningful goals and develop a personalised plan for your child. Together, we’ll discuss your child’s daily routines, strengths, interests, and any areas where extra support is needed.
This collaborative approach ensures that we focus on your child’s specific needs, such as improving communication, building independence, or enjoying quality time with family. Sessions typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, with the exact time confirmed beforehand.
