We prioritise a thoughtful, person-centred approach to disability support by implementing the following practices:
- Specialised Training in Complex Care
Our support workers are trained extensively in handling complex behaviours and in supporting individuals with a variety of functional impairments. This training ensures that they can meet diverse needs effectively and compassionately. - Stringent Screening for Safety
Each support worker is carefully screened to ensure they meet high-quality standards and provide robust safeguards. This thorough screening process is integral to delivering consistent, reliable care. - Team-Based Care Integration
Support workers are not just employees; they are considered essential members of the broader multidisciplinary care team. This collaborative approach enhances the overall care plan and ensures holistic support for every participant. - Qualifications and Experience
All our support workers hold relevant qualifications, and many also bring years of lived and professional experience. This blend of knowledge and real-world insight enriches the care experience for participants. - Personalised Matching and Meet-and-Greet
We strive to match participants with support workers who align with their preferences and specific needs. Personal meet-and-greet sessions are available to ensure a comfortable and compatible relationship from the start.
Your Support Journey in 4 Steps
When the participant calls, we begin by gathering essential information about their needs, preferences, and any specific challenges. This helps us understand their situation and begin assessing how we can provide the best support.
Needs Assessment and Goal Setting
Once the initial information is collected, we conduct a detailed assessment to identify the participant’s strengths, limitations, and goals. This step helps in formulating a tailored care plan that aligns with their needs and aspirations.
Support Worker Matching
Based on the assessment, we carefully match the participant with a support worker who has the right skills, experience, and personality to meet their specific needs. We ensure that the match is a good fit for both the participant and the support worker.
Introduction and Ongoing Support
After the match is made, we arrange an introduction (meet-and-greet) between the participant and the support worker. Ongoing support is provided to ensure the relationship develops positively, with regular reviews to adjust the care plan as necessary.
